Southwest Bar Volunteer Legal Aid is very grateful to all the pro bono attorneys that volunteer their time and expertise. With the help of these wonderful attorneys we are able to serve our community and fulfill our mission of equal access to justice.

Pro Bono attorneys are contacted on a rotating basis for cases involving low-income clients. As a pro bono attorney, you are free to accept or reject a particular case depending on your areas of interest and workload. There are many ways to volunteer whether it be taking a case or two a year or helping to teach a clinic to the community once a year.

You could earn up to nine (9) hours of CLE credit per three-year reporting period for your pro bono legal representation. Also, the Colorado Supreme Court now recognizes firms that meet the goals established in Rule  6.1 by listing them through their Pro Bono Legal Services Recognition Program.
If you are an attorney in our area and are interested in joining SWBVLA we would love to have you! Just fill out a simple form online at the Colorado Pro Bono website and someone from our program will be in contact with you.
